Life story of the cooperative
Founded in 2017 by five members, the cooperative OUSAMA aims to enhance honey, obtain a sanitary license, ensure a stable income, and benefit from government support programs for beekeeping. Initially, it struggled to market its products and participate in exhibitions due to the lack of a sanitary license. The cooperative overcame these difficulties by investing in a honey packaging and conditioning unit licensed by the ONSSA.
