Founded in 2016 in the Asaki region of Taroudant province, the Argan d’Otourirt Cooperative arose from a strong desire to revalue local products—especially argan, garlic, and other agricultural yields—while creating lasting economic opportunities for rural women. Driven from the start by a clear vision, it brought together ten members around a structured project focused on professionalism, quality, and permanent job creation. Over the years, the cooperative strengthened its organizational and productive capacities, improved processing standards, and affirmed its market positioning. Earning ONSSA and Morocco Foodex certifications marked a key milestone, underscoring its commitment to quality, traceability, and local resource promotion. Today, the Argan d’Otourirt Cooperative is a reference player in territorial development and women's economic empowerment in the region.
