Life story of the cooperative
Founded in 2017 in Laâyoune by twenty-six women, the ALAYAFA cooperative specializes in producing traditional couscous. From the beginning, it has relied on institutional support and the structuring of its production tools to highlight local women’s craftsmanship. Today, the cooperative holds ONSSA certification and continues to innovate and expand its product range, actively contributing to the promotion of local food heritage.
