AL AMAL DE TISSAGE

Since 1964, the Al Amal Embroidery Cooperative, based in Ksar El Kebir, has brought together passionate artisans around a simple yet ambitious dream: to preserve and promote a rich heritage through the creation of authentic traditional fabrics and decorations. Over the decades, its members have successfully met the challenge of commercialization by using various levers—promotion, correspondence, participation in trade fairs—and continuously exploring new solutions to expand their offerings and reach an ever-growing clientele. Today, with 29 active members, the cooperative remains a living example of sustainability, adaptation, and the transmission of ancestral know-how, while continuing to innovate for the future.
