Life story of the cooperative
Founded in 2017 in the commune of Ifrane Atlas Al Saghir by seven young members, including four women, the AFRAOU ATLAS SAGHIR cooperative was created to promote authentic Moroccan amlou while honoring traditional know-how. By building on the cooperative framework and strategic institutional partnerships, it has implemented a development strategy that combines trade fair presence and digital promotion. Today, it operates a modern production unit in the center of Timoulay and holds both ONSSA and Morocco Foodex certifications. Thanks to the high quality of its products and its distinct Amazigh identity, the cooperative has positioned itself in local and international markets with strong potential for growth.
